October 2019 TAEVT Training
You do not want to miss TAEVT's next training class and test date. On October 19th, from 8am - 12 pm, at District 7 Fire Rescue located at 18805 Hwy 16 N, San Antonio, TX 78254, join us for training on Myths and Facts about Infectious Diseases by Steve Harrison, NREMT-P, Assistant Chief, Central EMS. Lunch will begin around noon, with EVT testing to follow. Don't forget to register for your EVT test(s) at least 16 days before the test date on www.evtcc.org.
During the training class, we will discuss blood and body fluids you, as EVTs, may encounter on the job and what that means for you. Steve Harrison was born and raised in West Fork, AR, a small town just south of Fayetteville. He has a wife, two kids, and 7 grandkids. Steve has been in public service for 38 years as a Fire Fighter, Sheriff’s Deputy, and a Paramedic. He has also been the Designated Infection Control Officer for Central EMS since 1999 and the Fleet Manager since 2000. Steve likes to hunt, fish, ride his Harley Davidson, and spend time with family.
